Social Media Manager

We are Hiring Social Media Manager for Rocket VA’s – WFH Fulltime
What You’ll Do:
- Schedule social media posts
- Create content calendars for social media pages.
- Select appropriate content to be posted.
- Utilize scheduling tools for timely and consistent posting.
- Approve members into a Facebook group:and other social media pages.
- Manage membership requests for a Facebook group.and social media pages.
- Review and approve or deny member requests based on predefined criteria.
- Follow established guidelines for approving new members.
- Manage comments and posts in the Facebook group and other social media account.
- Actively monitor and engage with the Facebook group community.
- Respond to comments, address inquiries, and facilitate discussions.
- Moderate and remove inappropriate or spammy posts.
- Manage and coordinate events for client calendars:
- Effectively schedule and coordinate events on the client’s calendars. Organize meetings, appointments, and other engagements.
- Implement the client’s social media strategy.
- Distribute these content across social media channels which include but are not limited to: Facebook Page, Facebook Group, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn Page, LinkedIn Group, Pinterest, Podcast, Newsletter.
- Create posts and copy that are contextual to each platform and are aligned with the brand’s tone of voice and will resonate with client’s audience.

- Community engagement: respond to comments and inquiries, post on groups, escalate concerns to the client.
- Be able to edit with fast turnaround time should the client have revisions (same day or within 24 hrs).
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience working in social media or creative as an individual at a brand or a well-respected agency
- Excellent English communication skills (both written and oral) with exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills.
- In-depth knowledge of social media platforms and tools with a keen eye for trends, performing content, and influencers
- With at least 1-2 years of experience managing social media accounts with verifiable examples of success
- Proficient in Adobe editing softwares, and has experience using Canva
- Basic Google Suite knowledge (GMail, GDocs, GSheets, etc.)
- At least 1 year of experience with social tools (Hubspot, Hootsuite, Later) and analytics such as (Facebook Insights, Google Analytics, Hubspot analytics dashboard)
- Bonus points if you have general knowledge of SEO and the AI industry.
- $4 per hour starting salary
- $50 Retention Bonus every 3 months
